New Delhi [India], April 22 (ANI): The Indian Army in coordination with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Vadodara, has launched a five-day Executive Training Programme from April 21 to
April 25 focused on the PM Gati Shakti - National Master Plan and the National Logistics Policy for officers of the Indian Army. This marks the beginning of a series of collaborative
initiatives under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Indian Army and GSV on September 9, 2024. The training was inaugurated with addresses from Major General Mohit
Trivedi, Additional Director General, Operational Logistics, Indian Army and Prof (Dr) Manoj Chaudhary, Vice Chancellor of GSV. Both dignitaries highlighted the importance of integrating
modern infrastructure planning tools with defence logistics to support India's growth and national preparedness. The inaugural programme brought together 20 senior and mid-level Indian
Army officers who are actively engaged in logistics and infrastructure management. Designed to enhance efficiency and technological integration in Army logistics, the training provides
hands-on exposure to GIS-based tools embedded in the National Master Plan. This initiative aligns with the Government of India's vision of Viksit Bharat by equipping the armed forces
with advanced planning and operational capabilities, a release said. This unique programme represents a significant step in harmonising the Indian Army's contributions to national
development with the broader objectives of PM Gati Shakti, positioning the armed forces as active stakeholders in the nation-building process, it added. (ANI)
