MOTORISTS AND ROAD USERS WHO DRIVE POPULAR FORD MODELS ARE BEING IMPACTED BY A RECALL, AS WELL AS TOYOTA AND AUDI MOTORISTS TOO. 12:49, 31 May 2025 A major warning has been issued for

millions of drivers who have either a Ford, Toyota or Audi car on their driveway. Motorists and road users who drive popular Ford models are being impacted by a recall, as well as Toyota and

Audi motorists too. Ford is recalling nearly 1.1 million vehicles in the United States because rearview cameras may not display images due to a software issue, increasing the risk of a

crash. The recall covers some 2021 through 2024 model year Bronco, F-150, Edge, and 2023-2024 Escape, Corsair, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550 and F-600 vehicles, the automaker said Wednesday in

a filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. READ MORE UK SET TO SIZZLE IN 'GLORIOUS' 27C MINI-HEATWAVE WITH 33 COUNTIES IN ENGLAND HIT The recall also impacts

the 2022-2024 Expedition, 2022-2025 Transit, 2021-2023 Mach-E, Lincoln Nautilus, 2024 Ranger, Mustang and the 2022-2024 Navigator. FORD NHTSA said the software issue may cause the rearview

camera image to delay, freeze, or not display. Ford said it is aware of one allegation of a minor crash resulting in property damage tied to the issue. In January, NHTSA contacted Ford

regarding allegations of more than three dozen rear-view camera complaints on 2021-2023 Ford F-150 vehicles. TOYOTA Toyota is recalling more than 443,000 Tundra and Tundra Hybrid trucks from

model years 2022 to 2025 over a defect that could cause the reverse lights to stop working—posing a potential safety hazard. In a report filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety

Administration (NHTSA), the automaker explained that a multi-layer vent patch used in the trucks' reverse lamp assemblies may degrade over time due to thermal cycling. The compromised

adhesive can allow moisture to seep into the assembly, leading to corrosion of the circuit board, connector, or wiring harness and ultimately causing the reverse lights to fail. If the

lights don't illuminate, drivers could have reduced rear visibility in low light conditions, and others on the road may not be able to see when the truck is backing up. AUDI A whopping

89,417 vehicles are caught up in an Audi recall. According to the NHTSA, the problem starts in the engine bay. Article continues below “The screws can loosen, allowing oil to leak and

increasing the risk of a fire.” Volkswagen Group’s recall report admits the screws might’ve been “improperly tightened” at the factory. Audi explained: “Over time, the cylinder head cover

screw(s) may loosen.” Seeping engine oil can build up residue without you noticing. Then if the exhaust gets that sticky mess hot enough, it can ignite and “a fire could occur.”
