undergoing endurance training ahead of his farewell gig in Birmingham. The Prince of Darkness will perform at Aston Villa on July 5 for the Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning show. The


highly anticipated performance will mark the first time the original band members - Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward - have performed together in 20 years. Metallica,

ahead of the gig. Speaking to Billy Morison on SiriusXM, he said: "I'm in heavy training for this Aston Villa thing that's coming up. "I haven't done anything for


it, it's going to be seven years. "I've been through all this surgery, and it really is like starting from scratch." He added: "It's endurance training. The


first thing to go when you're laid up is your stamina. "So, believe it or not, I'm doing two sets of three-minute walks a day, weight training, I've got to get going, you


know." Billy then asked him: "Have you just trained this morning before I got here?" Ozzy - who has also previously suffered a spinal injury - replied that he had, with Billy


then saying: "Because I see light and fire [in you]." Sharing how the training has affected him, Ozzy said: "I'm waking up again in my body, you know. Article continues
