SET FOR 'AT LEAST 30C' NEXT WEEK IN UK HEATWAVE BBC Weather forecasters expect Monday 16 June to Sunday 29 June to be "dry with some summer warmth". Article continues

below It says: "As we move into the second half of June a number of long-term forecast models predict some changes including a stronger high pressure close to the UK. This will lead to

largely dry and more stable summery weather conditions. "Scattered showers or thunderstorms are still possible though. With a low pressure system lingering somewhere between Iceland and

Greenland and extending at times towards parts of Scandinavia, Scotland and Northern Ireland will continue to be prone to slightly wetter, windier and cooler conditions. "There are

currently few signs of a prolonged cooler spell, however, short-term fluctuations in the overall weather pattern could always occur. Article continues below "Friday's update will

provide more insights in terms of the more probable outcome for next week and towards mid-month. Will the summery outlook remain on the cards?" Looking at this week, Netweather

TV's Jo Farrow says: "Clusters of showers begin to appear in the small hours of Friday working their way over Wales and England. Many will start Friday dry and bright but as so

often this week, there will be showers lurking. The showers and blustery westerly wind will make it feel cool. The showers will ease by the evening as high cloud begins to appear from the

west. "The signal for a low pressure on Saturday is strong. There is slight uncertainty about the exact timing of its sweep across the UK. However , there will be heavy downpours, the

risk of hail and thunderstorms, and large puddles for England and Wales with hefty downpours for Scotland.."
