JACK CAIN, 28, FROM LIVERPOOL, WAS DUE TO VISIT A LAG AT HMP STOKE HEATH IN SHROPSHIRE 12:48, 30 May 2025 A man has been sentenced to four months behind bars after he was found trying to


take a drug into HMP Stoke Heath in Shropshire. Jack Cain, 28, from Liverpool, was visiting the prison, a men’s prison and young offender institution near Market Drayton, when he was found

charged with attempting to convey a list A article into a prison. He later admitted the charged and was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, May 28. Police said the sentence


sends out a strong message "to anyone who thinks they can sneak drugs into our prisons that we will not tolerate this kind of behaviour." Speaking after the case, Detective


Constable Jo Heyes, Prison Crime Investigator for HMP Stoke Heath, said: “We welcome the sentence given to Cain by the judge as it sends a strong message to anyone who thinks they can sneak
