THE BANKING GROUP HAS ISSUED A MESSAGE OVER £200 PAYMENTS THAT ARE BEING SENT OUT TO CUSTOMERS 18:02, 02 Jun 2025 Nationwide Building Society has clarified some of the rules about a £200
payment going out to customers. The detail came to light after a customer queried over social media about the £200 offer. The group is currently offering a £200 payment when you switch to a

CLICK THE LINK TO JOIN A member of public asked Nationwide over X: "If I take advantage of the £200 switch, do I have to notify people who pay in of my bank details or do you contact
them?" Article continues below Nationwide initially encouraged them to check the group's website for details about this, but the individual said they had tried this and
couldn't find the details. As a result, Nationwide responded with the relevant information, stating: "We’ll redirect payments from your old account. "This means any payments
still going to your old account, like your salary or pension, will be redirected to your new account," Nationwide continued. "And we’ll tell the organisation making the payments
about your new account details." However, the provider said that the person may need to take action as well, adding: "You should also let them know your new account details."
Nationwide encouraged them that if they needed more help, they could call on 03457 302010 or visit their nearest branch. HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR THE £200 NATIONWIDE SWITCH OFFER? To qualify for
the switch offer, you need to: * Move over at least two direct debits as part of your switch * Complete your switch within 28 days, using the Current Account Switch Service * Within 31 days
of the account opening or applying to switch into an existing account, pay in at least £1,000 and make 1 debit card payment. If you already have a FlexPlus, FlexDirect or FlexAccount
current account, you may still qualify if you switch over from another provider, using the Current Account Switch Service. Nationwide has also announced that it will be paying out an £100
bonus to millions of members in the latest round of its Fairer Share Payment. This will go out to some four million customers between June 18 and July 4. The funds can only be paid into an
open Nationwide current account. Nationwide also recently paid out a £50 bonus to 12 million members, as part of the The Big Nationwide Thank You, a one-off payment. Article continues below
