on 23rd May, 2025. She played barmaid, Nona Willis, in the long-running ITV soap in 1961 for 10 episodes, ultimately stepping away when she admitted to finding the Lancastrian accent too

London, she was the second of two children to Dorothy and Roy Ferris. Fans have shared tributes to her passing, with one writing: “Absolutely gutted to hear about Barbara Ferris. She had
such a quiet grace on screen — Catch Us If You Can was a core memory from my childhood. Rest easy, Dinah." Another said: “RIP to Barbara Ferris - unforgettable in The Krays. That voice,
