Wales is now under a microscope with his current contract set to expire at the end of June, with a number of clubs said to be circling him for his signature. According to Wales Online, the
Swans hierarchy are of the understanding Darling is considering a number of offers, including Blues. But it's also claimed 'there is still some hope' the player renews his
terms at the club with an offer reportedly on the table. Speaking on his future last September, Darling told BBC Sport: "Me and my girlfriend had our first baby here so Swansea is
always going to be a special place for us. "It’s something I don’t really get involved in. "I focus on my football and I am sure that will take care of itself – I am football first
and we will see what happens." Darling joined Swansea from MK Dons in 2022 and has gone on to make 112 appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals and assisting six times.
