A CABIN CREW MEMBER HAS SHARED HER OPINIONS ON CERTAIN BEVERAGES 15:48, 29 May 2025 A flight attendant has shared why they dislike serving passengers fizzy drinks on planes. Jet, who shares
her experiences online, said that people should avoid bubbly drinks where possible when travelling. She said that this was due to the time-consuming way she and others are forced to pour
them. Jet said that "soft drinks foam up a lot more when poured out of a can", which means she has "to sit and wait for the bubbles to fall before I can continue
pouring". READ MORE: 'GREEDY MUM LIVING IN £1M HOUSE' STOLE £166K FROM EMPLOYER AND DIDN'T TELL FAMILY This becomes particularly time-consuming when there's a queue

servings. The cabin's arid atmosphere is another factor to consider, as indulging in fizzy drinks or alcohol can exacerbate dehydration, potentially making you feel quite poorly. Also,
the effervescence in these drinks can lead to bloating and indigestion which can be a downside, especially on a long flight, The Mirror reports. The news comes after TikTok star, Brodie
Capron, recently busted some myths about in-flight tap water. The question of whether it's safe to stick to bottled water on planes is a common one, especially with whispers that the
onboard water filters are rarely given a good scrub. DON'T MISS THE BIGGEST AND BREAKING STORIES BY SIGNING UP TO THE BIRMINGHAMLIVE NEWSLETTER HERE. And Brodie, who works for Virgin
Australia, put these rumours to rest by assuring that their tap water is indeed drinkable. She stated: "Is the water safe to drink? Yes, it is. It's filtered, and it's
clean." But elsewhere, fellow flight attendant Deja said: "When you are travelling on an aeroplane please don't drink coffee or tea," and she didn't stop there,
adding hot chocolate to the list of beverages to avoid mid-flight. Article continues below Deja alleges that the "water tanks on the aeroplane are never cleaned, and they are very
disgusting".
