A MAN VISITED THE MCDONALD'S BRANCH IN BENIDORM, SPAIN, WHICH IS SAID TO BE THE "BEST" IN THE COUNTRY, AND HE WAS LEFT DISAPPOINTED AFTER TRYING THE "MCEXTREME TUTTI
PEPPERONI" 05:51, 31 May 2025 A travel reviewer visited a McDonald's in Benidorm, Spain, that's been touted as the country's best, but one aspect of his meal left him
utterly stunned. Harry, who shares his travel experiences online, stopped by the fast food chain and was taken aback by the restaurant's stunning views, as well as its unique menu
offerings, including its own brand of beer. In a video posted to his TikTok account, HarryTokky, he documented his visit, starting with a perusal of the menu to see what set this
McDonald's apart. He opted for the "McExtreme Tutti Pepperoni" meal, accompanied by fries and a "McBeer". Additionally, he tried the "Italian Taster
McShaker" fries, which required him to shake the bag before eating. READ MORE: FOREIGN OFFICE WARNS UK TOURISTS Upon opening his burger, Harry was dismayed to find it in a sorry state,
declaring the meal a "disaster" due to the subpar taste of the pepperoni. The "McShaker" fries, which he paid extra for, failed to impress, as the shaking process
didn't seem to enhance the flavour. The "McBeer", however, was a redeeming aspect of the meal, with Harry describing it as "yummy". Despite this, the overall
experience fell short of being the best McDonald's meal he'd ever had, reports the Express. The cost of the meal was not disclosed, but Harry's disappointment was clear. The
video, shared online, has gained plenty of traction, viewed dozens of times with comments pouring in thick and fast from viewers sharing their two pence on the matter. One viewer chimed in
with their experience: "Benidorm McDonald's is the best one." Another suggested: "There's meant to be a packet of flavouring you put in the McShaker bag. Like the
flavouring on crisps." While another fan insisted: "Try the chicken wings. We swear by them." someone else was looking forward to future plans: "Can't wait to go in
July." According to Harry, the eatery in Benidorm pulls in the crowds for its unique offerings not found in UK branches, boasting an array of dishes exclusive to Spanish menus. A
notable oversight might have been made regarding the McShaker fries, which are intended to come with a sachet of seasoning for a vigorous shake-up in the bag – and it appeared Harry
might've missed out on this detail. Despite Harry being quite taken aback by his meal, opinions on TripAdvisor show it's a mixed bag, with an overall average score of 3.5/5 and
reviews varying widely. One customer praised the branch highly: "Nice place to get some fast food. The food is good and tastes better than the UK. Great coffee and nice desserts. Very
clean place with outside area." And yet another found value in the convenience: "Fantastic to be able to get simple straight to cheap food on vacation in Spain. You know what you
get here, and it's a short waiting time. Amazing - there's also beer sold on the menu." Another patron chimed in: "Great place! I've eaten a lot of things there, but
without a doubt this place was one of the best. The food is like eating a unicorn." However, not everyone shared the same sentiment, as another customer expressed: "Spanish
McD's got no milkshakes, was bitterly disappointed. You would expect a fairly hot country would have milkshakes in McD's, well it doesn't." Article continues below
