11:49, 29 May 2025 Shoppers with Boots, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons have been warned over a product being recalled due to serious health concerns. The Myprotein Gooey Filled Cookie Double
Chocolate and Caramel was found to include wheat (gluten) which was not on the label. Affected products include the single 75g biscuit, and the box of 12, with reports suggesting the best
before dates of June 17, 2025, and July 16, 2026, on all batch codes, with barcode 505610458721 the identifiable number. Guidance from the Food Standard Agency said due to this error, the

WITH MILLIONS OF SHOPPERS WARNED The FSA added: "If you have bought the above product and have coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, do not eat it.

Limited which was posted on May 23, affects "all date and batch codes" sold by the supermarket. Boots and Asda's websites have all confirmed "all date and batch
codes" have been impacted at their stores, and Morrisons has not included information on the specifics regarding date and batch codes. It is alleged the problem regarding the cookies
came about when an ingredient which had wheat protein that was not disclosed on the item was used in the manufacturing of the product, the Express said. The labelling error could mean

BACTERIA Some consequences of consuming gluten when you have coeliac disease can range from more common symptoms such as diarrhoea to more serious ones such as problems with co-ordination,

allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall," as well as issuing a product recall.
