Samsung will today announce a new soundbar range which now includes the Company’s first 11.1.4 channel soundbar package. The flagship Q950A is a seriously top end bar that comers with a


wireless subwoofer and two 9500s wireless surround speakers. If that is too top heavy for you Samsung is set to sell a separate 9500 2.0.2 wireless surround kit which are an upgrade on older


models as they include both side-firing and upward-firing drivers. The big difference this year is that owners get ‘Q-Symphony’ technology, which allows the soundbar to work in conjunction


with the TV’s own speakers for an even bigger sound experience. The new upward drivers available with the Q950A also support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround technology, to really experience


this ask to hear the Atmos demo which Dolby have developed for Samsung. Owners of a new 2021 Samsung TV which includes the recently announced NeoQLED TV’s with a MiniLED display can use the


‘Space Fit Sound’ feature, which analyses an acoustic environment via the TVs microphone and automatically re-calibrates your audio settings to deliver significantly improved sound. Owners


who want a Samsung soundbar but don’t own a Samsung TV will be able to use the microphone built into the new subwoofer this ‘Space EQ’, technology fine-tunes the bass response. The new


soundbars also include Apple’s AirPlay 2 that allow for easy streaming and the ability to play content from your phone simply by tapping it to the bar. The Q950A also has integration for


voice control services, including Amazon Alexa and Bixby. Samsung’s 2021 soundbar line-up will also include a 3.1.2-channel HW-Q800A with an 8-inch subwoofer, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support,


a 3.1.2-channel HW-Q70A with a 6.5-inch subwoofer, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X as well a 4.1-channel HW-Q60A with a 6.5-inch subwoofer. We will know the pricing later today. In addition to the
