If you've been out and about in Seaham this week you may have noticed a new pink truck turning heads. That's because the Pamper Truck - a pink mobile salon on wheels that aims to

bring the 'Instagrammable' experience to life - has just launched. The full mobile experience designed to wow guests as a party that pulls up is the first of its kind in the North

East. The Pamper Truck is the latest addition to Regan Freemans ever expanding hair and beauty business empire. Regan, who already owns the successful award-winning salon The Blow Lounge and

exclusive children’s salon The Pamper Hut, both based in Seaham Harbour, County Durham, has embarked on her latest adventure renovating the majority of the truck herself. Thoughtfully

designed for pamper parties, bridal events and private hire - the truck has been fully converted and includes four luxury hair stations, bespoke seating, golden pedicure sinks and even a

prosecco and donut wall. Signature finishing touches of a DIY facial mirror zone complete with pampas grass and neon light make for the perfect photo backdrop. Whilst the hand painted pink

cloud ceiling mural by Manchester based salon artist Rachel Sarah ties the pink pamper zone together. Regan first had the idea to create the unique mobile business over four years ago after

interest in her children’s salon skyrocketed. Speaking to ChronicleLive, Regan said: “I was flooded with messages from people as far as Ireland, London and Kent asking where we were based.

From then I absolutely loved the idea of opening a van and ever since I’ve built up money from our pamper parties and reinvested it to get the dream van.” It was in late January when the

dream became a reality - after securing the ideal van in Birmingham, Regan got straight to work on the renovation process, completing around 90% of the project herself with the help of local

tradespeople including the baby pink exterior wrapped by Sunderland based Wrap Monkey Vehicle wrapping, sure to catch the eye whilst out on the road. After spending the last few months on

the labour of love and only days away from launch, Regan was struck with disaster when she discovered a hole in the roof thanks to the first heavy rainfall since February. Quick to avert,

Regan who also made the golden chairs herself after being let down by a global shipping delay said: "We overcame the nightmares like we always have - sometimes you need the problems to

show that you want it more and we keep pushing!" And now within days hitting the roads the Pamper Truck has already attracted lots of interest and several bookings. With a summer of

community focused events already lined up across the region including visits to schools, Reagan adds they even have future dreams to take the Pamper Truck to UK festivals. Whilst Regan, who

works full time in her existing businesses, will be driving the truck and running its social media. Her team of experts from the Pamper Hut will be on board to assist. Regan added: "All

staff are fully beautician qualified and DBS checked able to provide a valuable experience of working with children. Many have been praised for helping autistic children get their first

hair cut and that personal touch is what drives our loyal customer clientele." For bookings and more info, check out The Pamper Truck on Instagram here.
