Flowers continue to be left at the spot where popular young dad Tjay Davidson lost his life one week on from the bike tragedy. The 23-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene after the
off-road bike he was on collided with railings in Walker Road, in Walker, Newcastle, last Tuesday night. Within hours of the crash Tjay's friends gathered at the scene to leave flowers
and messages and share memories of him. And throughout the week the already large collection of tributes has continued to grow. Today framed pictures of Tjay with his friends are now hanging
on the railings, along with beautifully arranged flowers, balloons and even beermats spelling out Tjay's initials. One of Tjay's friends, Kai Moore, led tributes to him last week.
The 22-year-old said: "He was the life and soul of the party. There wasn't a moment of the day when he wasn't dancing. You'll never get a better dancer." Tjay grew
up in Newcastle's West End and had been living in North Shields before he died. But his friends said Walker was the place he considered home, and they felt like he was family.
