Newcastle United are leading the race for UEFA Champions League qualification. The Magpies secured a three-point cushion over their top-five rivals when they defeated Chelsea at St.

James' Park last weekend. While Aston Villa and the west London outfit have since narrowed the deficit, Newcastle have a game in hand. Eddie Howe's side will lock horns with

Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Then, on the final day, the Magpies will host Everton in what could be a season-defining clash. So, with that being said, CHRONICLE LIVE

has taken a look at how Newcastle can secure Champions League qualification. SIX POINTS If Newcastle were to win both of their remaining games, they would secure Champions League

qualification regardless of other results across the country. The Magpies would also have a good chance of finishing second in the Premier League, leapfrogging Arsenal with a win at the

Emirates Stadium. FOUR POINTS A win and a draw from their last two games would also be enough for Newcastle to secure qualification to the Champions League, taking them out of reach of two

rivals with 70 points. This is because neither Aston Villa nor Chelsea can accumulate more than 69 points term. Though the Magpies could drop to fourth if Manchester City were to win each of

their last two matches. Aston Villa, who won 2-0 against Tottenham Hotspur on Friday, face United at Old Trafford in their last game. They're now level on points with Newcastle (66),

who have a game in hand with a far superior goal difference. Chelsea, who defeated Ruben Amorim's side 1-0 on Friday, face Forest on the final day. But first, Nuno Espirito Santo's

side must play West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon. THREE POINTS A win against either Arsenal or Everton will likely be enough to secure qualification to the Champions

League, thanks to their goal difference advantage over Aston Villa. That would take their points tally to 69. TWO POINTS A pair of draws could also be enough to secure qualification to the

Champions League if Aston Villa and Chelsea fail to win each of their last games. If Forest also fail to win one of their last two matches, two points would be enough. ONE POINT A draw and a

defeat would take Newcastle's total points to 67. The Magpies would still stand a chance of securing qualification to the Champions League, but they'd need Aston Villa to lose to

United on the final day, Chelsea to lose to Forest and for Manchester City to also pick up a single point in two games. ZERO POINTS Newcastle could drop out of the top five before the end of

the season if they lose each of their last two games. For that to happen, Aston Villa and Chelsea must win both of their remaining games and Man City must at least one of their last two

matches. If that were to happen, the Magpies could drop to sixth. If Forest beat West Ham and Chelsea too, Newcastle would drop to seventh. HOW TO FOLLOW OUR NUFC WHATSAPP CHANNEL Did you
