SAM FENDER AND HIS BAND WILL PLAY THREE SHOWS AT ST JAMES' PARK IN NEWCASTLE IN JUNE ON THEIR PEOPLE WATCHING TOUR 14:05, 28 May 2025Updated 14:10, 28 May 2025 It doesn't seem that

long ago since tickets went on sale for the three homecoming shows, but there is no just two weeks to go until Sam Fender returns to St James; Park. And, thanks to the songs he's

played at recent shows, fans now should have a good indication as to what songs he'll play in Newcastle next month. It was on a sun-drenched weekend in the Toon in June 2023 that Sam

had Newcastle city centre gripped by Fender Fever, as he and his band, entertained two packed houses at St James, with shows that provided unforgettable nights of live music for the around

100,000 fans who managed to get tickets. After a lot of speculation towards the end of the year and a not so subtle social media hint from the man himself, Sam announced that he'd be

back on stage at SJP this June, with a third date then having to be added due to the massive ticket frenzy that ensued. Sam will bring his People Watching tour to his homeland on June 12, 14

and 15, with his support acts for St James' Park now confirmed in full. The gigs are set to bring tens of thousands of people into Newcastle that weekend, after Sam has played the

biggest concert of his career so far at the London Stadium. The last month has seen Sam and the band play to audiences in America and to a captive audience at Radio 1's Big Weekend in

Liverpool. Its the songs he has been playing of late that can help us draw up what might be a 'likely' setlist for St James' Park, although fan favourites Get You Down and

Remember My Name have been missing. And, given that Sam had brother Liam Fender and rock legend Brian Johnson as his special guests last time round, it could very easily change. SAM
