LARRY LAMB, KNOWN FOR HIS ROLES AS MICK SHIPMAN AND ARCHIE MITCHELL, IS CELEBRATING THE RELEASE OF HIS DEBUT NOVEL, TITLED 'ALL WRAPPED UP' 10:34, 31 May 2025 A Gavin and Stacey
and EastEnders star will be bringing his book tour to Newcastle's Tyneside Cinema as part of a series of events that take him from Billericay in Essex to Barry Island in South Wales.
Larry Lamb, known for his roles as Mick Shipman and Archie Mitchell, is celebrating the release of his debut novel, titled 'All Wrapped Up'. The series of events include festival
appearances, book signings and ‘audience with’ events across the UK, and the start and end locations are a nod to the beloved sitcom character that he played for 17 years. At the event in
Newcastle on June 16, Larry will take to the stage to share the personal stories behind his favourite films, and the inspiration behind his new book, blending cinema nostalgia with his own
behind-the-scenes insights. 'All Wrapped Up' is set amidst political turmoil on a Caribbean island, and follows the story of Killian Wilde, the first assistant director, determined
to see through the production of a film. It has been described as 'a compelling portrait of non-blockbuster filmmaking under fire, where the real battle isn’t just on screen'.
Larry Lamb said: "I was recently up in the North East filming The Feud, and I was delighted to discover such a thriving TV, Film and Arts hub in the area. "I’ve been looking
forward to returning as part of my national book tour, and the Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle seemed the perfect venue to hold an event. Article continues below "My book is all about the
lives of the real working people behind the scenes on a film set, the true unsung heroes, and Tyneside Cinema is a fantastic example of providing a platform for local people to access all
aspects of film." If you are interested in the event and would like to purchase tickets, visit the Tyneside Cinema website here. JOIN OUR COURT & CRIME WHATSAPP COMMUNITY Join our
