SINGAPORE, 10 FEBRUARY 2006 – CNBC, the world leader in business news, today announced two new appointments to its team in Asia Pacific, with Reena Kumarasingham taking on the role of
Communications Manager, and Eunice Goh Lay Hua as Advertising Sales Account Manager. Both positions are based in Singapore. Reena Kumarasingham will manage, oversee and implement strategies
for PR and corporate communications activities and initiatives for CNBC to support the visibility of the brand across the region to key audiences and stakeholders. As part of the Marketing
team she will help drive awareness of the CNBC brand, including talent, programming, and events such as the CNBC Asia Business Leader Awards and CNBC Strategic Forums, joint venture
partnerships, and other key regional and global initiatives and achievements. Reena's most recent role was with MEASAT, the sole commercial communications satellite operator in
Malaysia. Her responsibilities included planning, managing and implementing marketing communications and corporate communications strategies, publicity and media relations initiatives, PR
activities and brand maintenance. Eunice Goh will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining regional advertising sales accounts within Singapore covering Asia Pacific and
Europe markets. She will also play a key role in working closely with CNBC's global sales team in implementing regional initiatives. Eunice came to CNBC from StarHub Ltd, where, for
close to five years, she managed major accounts and worked closely with regional media partners to develop marketing programs and sponsorship packages.
