Former ENRON CEO Jeffrey Skilling will be resentenced July 30, after an appeals court earlier this year ruled his 24 year sentence was too harsh. The judge in Skilling's 2006 trial, Sim

Lake, set the re-sentencing for 2pm Houston time on July 30. Just like at his original sentencing in 2006, victims will be given an opportunity to speak. The judge has given them until May

29 to notify the court if they wish to be heard. Skilling was convicted in 2006 on 19 criminal counts related to Enron's 2001 collapse. The appeals court upheld his convictions earlier

this year, but ordered the re-sentencing. Skilling's attorneys are planning an appeal to the Supreme Court. He is currently housed at a federal correctional institution in Englewood,
