A READER TELLS THE CONNEXION THAT SOME DELIVERIES ARE TAKING UP TO 10 DAYS  To the Editor, A recent article mentioned that La Poste has been advised to stop six-days-a-week deliveries. I do

not believe we have had six-days-a-week deliveries for quite a while in my rural corner of Deux-Sèvres – I cannot recall the last time I received post on a Monday or Saturday. Limited

opening hours for La Poste post offices are another issue, as well as extremely slow deliveries.  An important letter sent to me from a hospital in Paris took 10 days to reach me, and a

birthday card for my granddaughter (who lives about 200km from me) did not arrive until 10 days after her birthday, despite the fact that I had sent it 14 days before her birthday, as I

wanted to be sure it would arrive in good time. Steve Lydon, Deux-Sèvres Do you think you can rely on La Poste despite its problems or do you use alternatives? Let us know at
