A Midlands dad who was caught with £25,000 worth of cocaine stashed down his pants has been jailed. Ricky Williams was on his way home after collecting the illegal haul from Coventry when he


was stopped as he exited the M6. Police stopped Williams in a Ford Focus on October 8, 2024. Officers pulled the 27-year-old over when he left the M6 at J15 for Stoke-on-Trent South. When

linked him to the supply of drugs. Prosecutor Sherrie Henry said: “He was strip-searched, and 248 grams of cocaine with a 96 per cent purity fell to the floor when he removed his shorts. It


had a wholesale value of between £6,500 and £9,000 and a street value of £25,000.” Officers searched a property linked to Williams and found three bags of cannabis valued at around £1,320.


Two sets of scales and £400 cash were recovered from a shelving unit in the lounge, Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard. Defending, Hugh McKee said Williams no longer takes drugs. He said: “It


is causing him problems with sleeping, but he is seeing it through.” Mr McKee continued: “He is a changed man, and the person before you today is not the one arrested in October. He has done


what he can to rid himself of his addictions, and hopefully he can continue that in custody.” Williams, of Roundway, Blurton, admitted possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply and


possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court. He was sentenced to 45 months in jail. Recorder Robert Smith told Williams: “Cocaine is a highly addictive
