A child was left hurt following a three car collision which led to police closing a junction in Warwickshire. Emergency services responded to 999 calls made at the junction of Spon Lane and


the B5000 in Atherstone last night (May 28). Police closed off the junction as medics from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) tended to two patients. One of them was a child. A WMAS

Lane and the B5000 in Atherstone at 6.04pm and sent two ambulance to the scene," a WMAS spokesperson said. "On arrival, crews found two patients, a woman who was the driver and a


child who was the passenger. Both were treated for minor injuries and discharged at the scene with self-care advice. There were no further patients."
