A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after five people were injured in Warwickshire. Police were called to a two-car crash at the junction of Merevale Lane and Bentley
Common in Atherstone. Paramedics and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were also dispatched to the incident at around 5.40pm on Saturday (May 31). Crews found five people injured.
Three men, a woman and a child were found to have sustained minor injuries. All received treatment at the scene of the incident, West Midlands Ambulance Service said. READ MORE: QUIRKY NEW

Bentley Common near Atherstone at 5.42pm on Saturday. Crews found that two cars had been involved in a collision, and there were five patients. “Three men, a woman and a child were all
treated for injuries not believed to be serious. One of the men, the woman and the child were conveyed to George Eliot Hospital, whilst the other two men were conveyed to University Hospital
Coventry and Warwickshire.” A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “We were called at 5.28pm on May 31 to a two-vehicle collision on Merevale Lane in Atherstone. One man was arrested on
