A teacher employed at a private school charging £13,000 per annum, who was found in possession of child sex abuse images, has been banned from the classroom. David Noble was arrested on the

school premises when his crimes were exposed. The 59 year old had been employed at a Warwickshire school, which caters to children aged three to 13, for over two decades before police

apprehended him. He subsequently received a community order from the court. A misconduct panel from the Teaching Regulation Agency has now declared that Noble violated teaching standards and

his actions constituted misconduct, reports Birmingham Live. The sex offender was employed at Bilton Grange Preparatory School in Rugby starting from September 1996. READ MORE: DISGRACED

WEST MIDLANDS POLICE OFFICER WITH 'THIRST FOR KNOWLEDGE' SNOOPED ON RESTRICTED LOGS He taught ICT and French while also serving as a lay chaplain. The paedophile was 'arrested

at his residence on the school estate', according to a report. Between March 30, 2017, and March 27, 2021, he amassed a total of 93 indecent images of children. On October 23, 2023,

Noble was given a community order, which included 100 hours of unpaid work, a 60-day programme requirement, and a 40-day rehabilitation activity requirement. He was also subjected to a

five-year sexual harm prevention order and was instructed to remain on the sex offenders register for five years. Noble did not 'engage' with the Teaching Regulation Agency,

resulting in his hearing proceeding in his absence. According to a report by decision maker David Oatley: "The panel finds that Noble's conduct fell significantly short of the

standards expected of the profession. The findings of misconduct are particularly serious as they include a finding of a relevant conviction for making indecent photographs or

pseudo-photographs of a child. "In my judgement, the lack of evidence of insight and remorse means that there is some risk of the repetition of this behaviour, and this puts at risk the

future wellbeing of pupils. "I have therefore given this element considerable weight in reaching my decision." Following a hearing in February, Noble was issued a prohibition

order, resulting in an indefinite ban from teaching in any educational setting in England, including schools, sixth-form colleges, and children's homes. Bilton Grange Preparatory

School, situated on 90 acres in the Warwickshire countryside, charges fees ranging between £5,427 and £13,170 for day and boarding pupils. A Bilton Grange School spokesperson stated:

"We were shocked when we heard the allegations about David Noble and immediately suspended him from his role, dismissing him at the first opportunity. "We welcome the Teaching

Regulation Agency panel's decision to bar him from the profession." Noble's crimes did not occur on school premises and did not involve anyone else within the school

community.
