KIIS FM breakfast show on Wednesday, revealing that she may stay unmarried for the rest of her life. During an entertainment news segment, the 45-year-old radio host mentioned actress
Charlize Theron's decision to never marry again and said that she felt 'exactly the same'. Jackie separated from her second husband, photographer Lee Henderson, two years ago.
She had previously been married to shock jock 'Ugly' Phil O'Neil in the late '90s. 'I don't know if I ever really want to live with someone again,'
Jackie said. 'I don't get lonely and I'm really happy with my daughter [Kitty, nine] and that's kind of it for me for right now. I don't think about it.' Her
co-host Kyle Sandilands applauded Jackie for taking charge of life as a single woman, saying: 'That's fine! I think that's good.' 'That's [being] in control of
your own life and you don't need a man,' he added. Jackie hasn't dated anyone since splitting from Lee, which is the longest period of time she has stayed single since she was
16. 'I've never, ever in my life been at this point. Every time I've been out of a relationship I've wanted to get back into one as quick as I can because I
couldn't be alone,' she said. 'I literally was out of a relationship and then on the hunt for a new relationship. I've never really had much breaks in between
relationships before.' While she is happy and comfortable with being single, Jackie is open to changing her mind if she meets the right person. 'I do worry that in 10 years'
time I'm going to be like, "Oh, am I making a mistake and now really want someone?"' But she said that for now 'it's just nice to feel happy being alone'.
Jackie announced her split from Lee in October 2018 after 15 years of marriage. Despite their separation, they continue to amicably co-parent their daughter, Kitty. Before meeting Lee, she
was married to DJ 'Ugly' Phil O'Neil when they were radio partners, but they split in 1999.
