A NEW STUDY HAS FOUND BRITS ARE HEAVILY RELIANT ON THEIR MORNING COFFEE TO GET THEM GOING - WITH THE FIRST CUP POURED JUST AFTER 7AM. OLIVER LEWIS 13:49, 10 Feb 2025 A recent study of 2,000

adults has revealed that Brits guzzle over 12 million litres of coffee each morning to jumpstart their day and survive the journey to work. This equates to a staggering 53 million mugs of

coffee consumed nationwide before the day truly gets underway! For more than half (53%) of coffee drinkers, functioning without their morning caffeine hit is virtually unthinkable, while

nearly half (47%) wouldn't dream of stepping out without a cup in hand. Londoners are particularly serious about their morning brews, with 52% asserting that coffee provides them with

the energy to tackle the day ahead and their first cup is typically poured at around 7:14 am on average. The study was commissioned by Nespresso to mark its new pod collaboration with Oatly.
