of punters - 59% - plan a mid-year reset. The survey said that just 16% stuck to their January promises so are ready to try again halfway through 2025. Topping the poll of pledges was
packing in smoking (39%) followed by quitting vaping (37%). Other goals included getting in shape (30%), eating cleaner (25%) and stopping binge drinking (19%). Feeling fitter (26%), getting
a new style (19%) learning a language (14%) and buying a new summer wardrobe (14) ranked high too. And spending less time on social media (13%) and walking 10,000 steps a day (13%) also
featured prominently on the list. Article continues below Pressed on why mid-year resolutions are easier to stick to, 45% people agreed that the longer daylight hours helped. And half said
that the warmer weather made it easier. Nicola Sunshine, from Nicorette, which commissioned the research, said: “The upcoming ban on disposable vapes, coupled with the natural reflection
