AFTER SIR KEIR STARMER YESTERDAY UNVEILED HIS DEFENCE REVIEW, ONE OF VLADIMIR PUTIN'S LEADING MOUTHPIECES SAID HE 'CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE BRITISH HAVE GONE MAD' 15:04,
03 Jun 2025Updated 15:14, 03 Jun 2025 Vladimir Putin has threatened the UK with “painful deaths” after Sir Keir Starmer’s defence review yesterday. A prominent Kremlin TV show has warned
Britain of nuclear Armageddon with “painful” radiation deaths, before urging Scotland and Wales to declare independence from London. Leading Putin TV mouthpiece Vladimir Solovyov declared:
“I can't understand why the British have gone mad [with the new UK defence review]. Where do they want to clash with us? At what point? “Or do they think that we have already landed,
entered the Thames somewhere and are now storming Westminster Abbey….?” The Putin broadcast then claimed that a “very pretty” woman who had been standing next to Starmer during his defence
review announcement showed from her expressions that many Britons doubted their Prime Minister’s strategy in making the UK “battle ready” with Russia. Political scientist Dmitry Evstafiev

a whole range of emotions. She was a very pretty girl, and as this man [Starmer] spoke, her face changed quite dramatically.” Yesterday, the PM warned the “threat of Russia cannot be
ignored” and said the UK must prepare for battle as he announced £15bn spending on nuclear weapons programmes. Starmer said: “In these dangerous times, when it comes to defence of the realm
and the defence of everything that we hold dear, nothing works unless we all work together. Article continues below “Every part of society, every citizen of this country, has a role to
