THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR THIS WEEKEND IN THE UK IS LOOKING VERY NICE, WITH WARM AND SUNNY SPELLS FOR MOST OF THE COUNTRY, AS TEMPERATURES CLIMB FOR A BALMY END TO A DRY SPRING 05:30, 30 May

2025Updated 05:32, 30 May 2025 A large portion of the UK is bracing for another burst of Spring warmth in just a matter of hours, with over 20 English counties predicted to enjoy top

temperatures of at least 20C. Forecast data gathered by Netweather.com indicates that the UK will be basking in mild temperatures today and hint at sizzling highs of 27C in the South East on

Saturday, following a hot and sticky day for many on Thursday. Maximum temperatures could reach at least the mid-teens for most of the country, including parts of Scotland, with

temperatures higher in Northern Ireland and soaring above 20C across numerous English counties by noon on Friday. By then, 21 counties could be sweltering as the mercury climbs to 20 and

beyond, according to weather maps. These counties include: * Norfolk * Suffolk * London * Essex * East Sussex * West Sussex * Hampshire * Wiltshire * Somerset * Lincolnshire * Leicestershire

* Northamptonshire * Cambridgeshire * Buckinghamshire * Berkshire * Herefordshire * Worcestershire * Bedfordshire * Warwickshire * Oxfordshire Article continues below Temperatures in

Northern Ireland at this time are expected to be in the mid-teens, peaking as high as 17C, with temperatures in Wales at similar levels and rising to 19C around the border with

Herefordshire. Similarly, Scotland will see low-to-mid teens in multiple areas, while reaching as high as 18 in areas around Perth and Kinross. By 6pm, additional English counties: South

Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and Dorset could also be hitting 20C, with temperatures in London and surrounding areas leaping to a scorching 25C, as indicated by the maps. The mercury's

set to stay sizzling high into the early hours, with the country bracing for another belter of a day starting from midday on Saturday. Brace yourselves, southern England, as you're in

for a repeat of 20-degree-plus temps, while up in the north-west, Merseyside, Cheshire, and Greater Manchester might also get a slice of the heat wave, not forgetting the northeast getting

its fair share from 6pm onwards. Virtually the entire UK is looking at a baseline of 15C, soaring way higher in some spots, including Scotland getting a taste of high teens central and west,

although central, western, and some parts of the northwest could be on the nippy side, hovering around 11-14C max, if the maps are anything to go by. However, looking at the Met

Office's long-range forecast from Monday, June 2 to Wednesday, June 11, some spots may experience "showers or longer spells of rain" and get a lashing from strong winds on the

coastlines. This bit of rough weather is set to leave temperatures hanging around or even a tad below what's normal for this time of year, the forecasters say. Their forecast reads:

"Dry for many on Monday with spells of sunshine. A few showers are likely in places, especially the far north. An unsettled period is then likely through the rest of week as areas of

low pressure move in from the Atlantic across the UK. These will bring showers or longer spells of rain to most areas, these heavy at times, perhaps accompanied by strong winds along some

coasts." Article continues below _FOR THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS AND STORIES FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE FROM THE DAILY STAR, SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER BY CLICKING __HERE__._
