Jun 2025Updated 22:48, 04 Jun 2025 A woman in a wheelchair went on a rampage and began to launch items into air during a heated exchange with another customer at a Morrison's
self-checkout. Shocking footage of the incident at the store in Eccles, Greater Manchester, caught the moment the woman appeared to pick up products and catapult them towards the other
shopper. A voice in the video can be heard shouting “you stupid b****” before several staff members rush to try to stop the argument. Customers can be heard gasping and shouting and
witnesses at the shop claimed the woman was “attacking” people during the riot. Several members of the public and security officers also jumped in to try to stop the shock encounter, report
the Manchester Evening News. The woman then goes to repeatedly kick the other customer and seems to continue attacking her after falling to the ground before she’s pulled back by a member of
staff. Article continues below She then hits out at another customer before a third customer appears to kick her as she leaves the self-checkout area. Woman begins 'throwing'
items and attacks customer during Morrisons self-checkout rampage The shopper who filmed the chaotic scene said the woman in the wheelchair “started screaming and throwing things” but she
had no idea “what set her off”. The customer said: “To be honest, I’m not too sure what set her off. She just started screaming and throwing things. “Then she got out of her chair and
attacked a poor woman who only came in for a balloon.” Article continues below Another witness then claimed that the woman began "swinging" at an officer after police were called
to the supermarket. Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called to the supermarket at around 6.15pm to reports of two women fighting. One woman was arrested at the scene on
