Manchester United have announced the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5million. The 26-year-old forward becomes Ruben Amorim's first summer signing of his overhaul at Old
Trafford. Cunha's move was confirmed by both United and Wolves on Sunday afternoon. Cunha was spotted in Manchester on Sunday morning as he arrived to complete his transfer. He is now
expected to head on international duty with Brazil. He was cleared to have a medical by Wolves last week and only granting a visa remains, which will be a formality. United will pay
Cunha's release clause in three instalments over the next two years. They had hoped to pay yearly instalments until 2029, but their proposal was rejected by Wolves. Cunha's move to
Old Trafford has been one of the worst kept secrets of the final few weeks of the season, with the speculation going into overdrive after Amorim was spotted putting his arm around him
following Wolves' win over United in April. The Wolves star scored 15 goals and registered six assists in 33 games in the Premier League this season and was pinpointed as an ideal No.10
to play in Amorim's 3-4-2-1 system. DON'T MISS A THING WITH FOOTBALL UPDATES! Want to be on the ball with all of the latest football news? Well then sign up for the brilliant
