"definitely take Liverpool forward" - although he confessed to having no fresh news on his future, despite being in camp with the star. Wirtz's performances at BayArena have
flourished, sparking intense speculation about a move to Liverpool, who are now reportedly leading Bayern Munich and Manchester City in the chase for his services. A £109million bid was
turned down by the Bundesliga club, holding out for a figure closer to their £125m asking price. Arne Slot is poised to dive into the transfer market after a restrained first summer that
culminated in clinching the Premier League crown. Fullkrug, who has witnessed Wirtz's abilities first-hand on international duty, believes the playmaker would be an invaluable asset to
