KATIE PRICE HAS ADMITTED SHE HAS ONE MAJOR REGRET FROM HER TIME AS AN EUROVISION HOPEFUL, AS SHE REFLECTED ON HER TIME COMPETING TO REPRESENT THE UK AT THE SONG CONTEST 00:37, 16 May 2025
Katie Price, former Eurovision Song Contest hopeful, has reflected on her stint competing to represent the UK as the 20th anniversary of her iconic attempt approaches. The telly icon was a
close second in the 'Making Your Mind Up' contest. Now 46, Katie was one of the five finalists in the BBC's 2005 show, aimed at finding the UK's Eurovision entry for that
year's competition in Ukraine. She was pipped to the post by Javine Hylton, who carried the flag for the UK with her track 'Touch My Fire' at the global event. Ex-glamour
model Katie, who was expecting her son Junior Andre during her Eurovision bid, belted out the tune 'Not Just Anybody' in the national selection. Her performance snagged her a score
of 101 points, falling short of Javine's winning total of 116 points. Reminiscing about the episode before this Saturday's Eurovision climax in Switzerland, Katie chatted about
her encounter on the fresh edition of her podcast The Katie Price Show', which hit the airwaves today. Article continues below Speaking to her sister Sophie Price on the podcast, Katie
recalled: "For years and years, I always remember us always watching Eurovision and then I was up to do it." She went on to reveal she'll be live-streaming her viewing of the
final with her beau JJ Slater and some mates. Reflecting on Eurovision memories, Katie admitted: "I can't wait for the Eurovision. I haven't got any memories of Eurovision
apart from when I was gonna represent the UK [in 2005] and they weren't good memories." Sophie then queried her: "What was your song?" Katie responded by singing a
snippet of the song she had competed with, stating: "I'm not just anybody ..." Her sister's reaction was: "Oh god, that song!". Katie went on to explain that
despite being able to "sing," she "couldn't" perform Not Just Anybody either back then or now. She stated: "The thing is I couldn't even sing the song then
and I couldn't sing it now, yet I can sing. But I still can't sing that song. "I hated it! The whole b***s*** about 'oh you're gonna get a Sony album but you have
to do this song' and then they found out I was pregnant and then I lost by one per cent." Katie further revealed that she "regrets" participating in Making Your Mind Up
two decades ago. She commented on the newly-released episode: "It's just all political stuff, as usual - but anyway, that's always a regret of mine doing that." The
I'm A Celebrity champion added to the conversation about the contest: "If there's any regret of any job, it was me doing Eurovision in the pink rubber catsuit being seven
months pregnant. Trying to hide the fact that I was pregnant." Article continues below WANT ALL THE BIGGEST SHOWBIZ AND TV NEWS STRAIGHT TO YOUR INBOX? SIGN UP FOR OUR FREE DAILY STAR
