Bill Block‘s newbie sales, finance and production company Block Entertainment has sold out on its inaugural project: the Jon Lucas-Scott Moore comedy project starring Leslie Mann and
produced by Judd Apatow. The project, for which Paramount made a pre-Cannes move to acquire domestic rights, has sold to Constantin in Germany, Entertainment Film Distributor in the UK,
Roadshow Films in Australia, Entertainment One in Canada, Dutch Filmworks in Benelux, Freeman/Monolith/Blitz in Eastern Europe, Gulf Film in Middle East, Ascot Elite in Switzerland and
United King in Israel and Cinesky for airlines. Deals for Latin America, Scandinavia, Greece and Asia have also closed. Bill Block is producing, and his Block Entertainment partner John
Friedberg will executive produce. Block Entertainment is producing alongside Apatow (_Knocked Up_) and Josh Church for Apatow Productions. Paramount has set an April U.S. release date.
