HUTTEN TAKES TO THE CHALLENGE BY DEVELOPING A SEATING PIECE THAT OFFERS GENEROUS AND COMFORTABLE SEATING, WHILE ALSO BEING COMPACT AND PORTABLE. RESPONDING TO OUR DIGITAL LIFESTYLES, THE

DUTCH DESIGNER HAS CONCEIVED THE ‘SATELLITE’ SPINNING EASY CHAIR FOR ACTIVITY-BASED SPACES, that encourages interaction and collaboration amongst individuals. PRODUCED BY OFFECCT,

‘SATELLITE’ IS CHARACTERIZED BY ROUND, PLAYFUL FEATURES. ‘_architects always draw circles to indicate where to position chairs on their floor plans. those architect drawings are the starting

point for this chair. the top view of ‘satellite’ is a perfect circle. to me, the circle is the most elegant form: it is without direction, has no bulky sides, no beginning, no ending,_‘

elaborations that led to a highly innovative easy chair — enabling both focused work and creative discussions and meetings — ‘satellite’ represents the third partnership between richard

hutten and OFFEECT. the design is supported by three-legs with an attachable side table that has the ability to orbit around the seating by 180 degrees; thus making it fit for left- and
