Muni, 29. The rowdy, with 13 criminal cases , ncluding four murders against him, was hacked to death in front of his family. Besides Muni, V Nithin Kumar, 20, MC Chikkanna, 26, KG Kantharaj,


alias Kantha, 22, K Sachin, 20, and a 17-year-old boy were arrested, police said. Investigators said Vishwa had been a business associate of Muni’s sister, a small-time real estate agent.


Vishwa fell apart with the woman after the latter had refused to pay him more commission as demanded. Muni and his associated allegedly decided to eliminate Vishwa after the latter had


threatened to murder the woman and her husband. The gang went to the deceased’s house on February 11 night, and attacked him with machetes. The man died in a nearby hospital. Police said


Vishwa was released on bail a week before the murder.
