seems unusual for the actor, and he is leaving no stone unturned to impress audiences with what they see. Saif Ali Khan, in a recent interview with Zoom, was asked about the movie and much
more. The topic of Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh, which is the highest-grossing film of 2019, and yet, the most controversial film of the year, refuses to die down. While talking about
the movie and concept of male stalking in Bollywood movies as a whole, Saif explained, “Male stalker is almost the genre for Indian cinema and somehow it's always been successful.” Saif
further went on to joke that his Kal Ho Naa Ho co-star, superstar Shah Rukh Khan went on to make a career out of it. “Shah Rukh Khan made his career on it in the beginning,” said Saif. When
asked where did that whole concept originate from, Saif added, “I don't know. It's like a society thing. We have a tendency to give the audience what we feel they want, and again,
these characters must have trickled down from the West... they must have been because we copy a lot." Coming back to Shah Rukh Khan, Saif gave the example of Baazigar and stated,
“There was a film that became Baazigar, it was not an original Indian idea. It's a Western film about a guy who starts bumping off the girls in the family he wants to take revenge
from.”
