off-spinner Nathan Lyon is playing his third Ashes series in England starting at Edgbaston. He along with India's Ravichandran Ashwin are the two leading finger spinners in the world
and the duo have always complimented each other. Before the start of the series - which also marks the beginning of the World Test Championship - Lyon made a statement about Ashwin while
talking to _Mumbai Mirror_. “I have watched a lot of footage of Ravi Ashwin actually, bowling over here last year and in the tours that he has been here, how effective he has been. In my
eyes, he is one of the offies going around. I can definitely learn from watching how he goes about it here in England,” Lyon told in the interview. The bowler is 350 Test wickets short to
closing in on great Dennis Lillee. He is currently the fourth highest Australian wicket-taker in Tests and will hope to overtake Lillee and occupy the third place. The first Test begins
today (1 August) - the same venue where England defeated Australia at the ICC World Cup semi-final.
