Vajpayee The asthi kalash of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee were brought to Jaipur on Wednesday afternoon from New Delhi. It was taken by road to BJP office in the form of a


yatra and during entire route CM Vasundhara Raje was present on an open vehicle on which the kalash were kept. Early on Wednesday morning BJP’s state president Madan Lal Saini and social


justice minister Arun Chaturvedi had flown to New Delhi to bring the kalash. They were received at the airport by CM Vasundhara Raje and other BJP leaders. Raje took one of the kalash in her


hands and the procession started from the airport. Behind this procession were BJP leaders and workers while on the route at various places tributes were offered to the former PM’s ashes.


The people paid respects and rich tribute to the departed leader at various points on way to BJP office where the party men offered floral tributes.  The ashes will be immersed in Chambal


River in Kota, Pushkar and at Mahi River in the form of Asthi kalah yatra. The first yatra will be taken by Kota MP Om Birla to Kota where  state BJP chief will also be present. The second


yatra will be for Pushkar and Chaturvedi will take the kalash for immersion in Pushkar. Its expected that CM Raje will also be there. The third yatra for Banswara will be taken out by BJP’s


Chunnilal Garasia where home minister Gulab Chand Kataria will also be present. TRIBUTES PAID * Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s ashes were brought to Jaipur from New Delhi, as


part of the party’s ‘asthi kalash yatra’. * The ashes were then taken to BJP state headquarters where party workers and people from different walks of life paid floral tribute to the


departed soul.
