The 10-point advisory was uploaded on www.punepolice.gov.in on Thursday. After failing to issue public advisory despite receiving letters threatening bomb blasts in the city as early as July
12, the Wednesday blasts have forced the city police to wake up from slumber and upload the instructions on their website. The 10-point advisory that was uploaded on www.punepolice.gov.in
on Thursday say: * If you notice any suspected item or person, immediately inform the police control room 020-26122880/ 26126296 or the nearest police station * Don’t touch or handle any
suspected item or take it to any police station and don’t take photograph of the suspected item * Don’t gather with other people near any suspected item * Leave the place or building
peacefully * If you notice any suspected item in building or office, open all doors, windows and shut gas connections * If you notice any suspected item in building or office, use staircase
to evacuate the area. * If you notice any suspected item in building or office, remove vehicles from parking area to safe place or safe distance * Don’t spread and believe in rumours,
confirm the fact from police personnel * If you notice any suspicious unknown person leaving any suspected item, immediately inform about the suspected person to police control room. * If
you notice any suspected item in public place, help traffic police or police personnel
