GUWAHATI: The Assam Royal Global University inaugurated the Royal Innovation Incubator on November 8. It was launched by S.K. Barua, Managing Director NRL & Chairman Confederation of
Indian Industry, Northeast Council India. Other dignitaries present at the event were Royal Global University (RGU) Chancellor Dr. A.K Pansari, Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr.) S P Singh, RGU
Executive Vice President Ankur Pansari, Principal Advisor Prof. MK Chaudhuri, Chairperson (Academics), Prof. A K. Buragohain, NERQMAC, NEDFI Director Manoj Kumar Das and invited guests from
the NRL, other industries and academics. Students, faculty members and other staff of the university were also present during the inauguration. During an interactive session S. K. Barua
talked about innovation, incubation, and startups, and how it can contribute to the growth of the economy. He highlighted the role of startups in the all-round development of the society.
Barua also appreciated the step taken by the RGU to establish the Royal Innovation Incubator as it will help promote entrepreneurship and innovation culture amongst the youth of Northeast
India. Barua said, “We need to keep upscaling. We need to learn, relearn and unlearn.” RGU Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) S P Singh, while addressing the gathering, said, “Everyone is
innovative, we just need the right ecosystem and support. Royal Global University’s Innovation Incubator is fulfilling the gap between idea and opportunity.” Royal Incubation Centre will
help nurture budding entrepreneurs of the region who possess ideas but lack due support and mentorship. With the motto “Creativity is a natural extension of our enthusiasm” in mind, Royal
