House Democrats are launching an effort to push back on Project 2025, the road map that conservative allies of former President Donald Trump have written for his possible return to the White

House.

The “Stop Project 2025 Task Force” is being led by Rep. Jared Huffman (D-Calif.), a senior member of the House Natural Resources Committee.

It brings together leaders of various caucuses, including Congressional Hispanic Caucus Chair Nanette Barragán (D-Calif.), Progressive Caucus Chair Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) and Democratic

Caucus Vice Chair Ted Lieu (D-Calif.).

Its goals include publicizing, preempting and counteracting Project 2025, the leaders said Tuesday in rolling out the project.
