take place in one of Launceston's prominent sites or buildings. The writers, aged 16 to 25 will draw inspiration from their location to create an experimental essay.

Twitch (Young Writers) Coordinator at the Tasmanian Writers Centre, Claire Jansen, is excited to be offering the opportunity in Launceston and said it could start a writing career.

Ms Jansen said the residency will give writers time and space to write and the chance to publish their work.

For more information contact Ms Jansen on [email protected].
