and sole occupant of a helicopter that crashed at Deloraine on Wednesday was a 37-year-old man from Bridport.

man was in the Launceston General Hospital with non-life threatening, but still serious, injuries.
He has broken bones and facial cuts.
The crash involved a white Schweizer 300C Helicopter, which clipped power lines while it was spraying crops about 12.40pm.
The helicopter was “completely destroyed” and its debris was scattered across a paddock.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau, police forensics, and Work Safe Tasmania were notified of the incident.

Tasmania Police said the male pilot sustained a serious head injury.
Police and emergency Services are at the scene.
Tasmania Fire Service dispatched one light tanker to the incident.
