“Because of her, We Can” and aims to celebrate female influences. 


Festivities will start at 10.45am on Wednesday, July 11 at the town’s cenotaph. A Welcome to Country will start the celebrations, with flag raising, fire sticks and smoking ceremonies to be


held. 


Aboriginal dance and cultural music will take part along the Kooparoona Niara Cultural Trail. 


A luncheon, exhibition and traditional art and craft making at Rotary Pavilion will also occur at 1.00pm.
