Seven warnings remain in place:  2 Watch & Act: South Esk River (Fingal to Western Junction) and St Pauls River

5 Advice: South Esk (Perth & Surrounds), Clyde River, Macquarie River, North Esk River, Ouse River

Flooding in the Break O'Day area peaked during the early hours of December 1 with St Marys receiving 191 mm from Saturday, 30 to the early hours of Sunday, December 1.

Invermay with the City of Launceston Council last week.

The Examiner understands the concerns came as Launceston received 40 mm of rain between 9am on November 27 and 9am November 28.

Invermay and Inveresk are located on a floodplain, making them one of the most flood-prone areas in the state.
