Two men have been charged after a brawl in Halifax resulted in two people seriously injured in hospital. "Weapons and vehicles" were involved in the fight in Mile Cross Road on
Wednesday, February 5. Now, two men have been charged in connection with the "violent disorder". Sohaib Tahir, 36, of Westbury Place, Halifax, and Uzair Mahmood, 24, of Rhondda
Place, Halifax, have both been charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon. Both were expected to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court on Friday, February 2. West
Yorkshire Police also confirmed three more men have been arrested in connection with the fight. Three men previously arrested have been released "pending further enquiries". A
seventh man arrested previously remains in custody. Detective Inspector Rob Stevens of Calderdale CID said: “I’d like to thank the public for coming forward with information in relation to
