A popular Huddersfield curry house is set to close leaving many customers heartbroken. Mumbai Spice, based in Bradford Road, will service guests for its final time today. They have posted
news of the restaurant’s closure on social media. A post on the Indian restaurant’s Facebook page reads: “It is with heavy hearts that we announce Mumbai Spice will be closing its doors for
the final time on Sunday, April 13. The past five years have been incredibly challenging, particularly with the rising costs since the Covid pandemic. “Despite our best efforts to keep
going, it has become increasingly difficult to continue trading. We want to express our deepest gratitude for your loyalty and support over the last 15 years. It has truly meant the world to
us, and we are so thankful to have been part of this wonderful community. Thank you for everything.” Many customers have offered their support to the team. Michael Dewsnap said: “Sad news.
The best restaurant in Huddersfield has gone. All the best for your futures and thank you.” We saw Sue Brewster comment: “So sad to hear this news. As a family, we have been going to Mumbai
