Huge names will appear at a new comedy festival happening in York city centre. The York Comedy Festival will take place on Sunday, July 6 at York Museum Gardens. Dara Ó Briain and Katherine
Ryan have been announced as co-headliners. Joining them both at York Museum Gardens this summer are Yorkshire’s own award-winning stand up, podcaster and comedy panelist Maisie Adam, Joel
Dommett, Phoenix Nights’ resident clairvoyant Clinton Baptiste and cult surrealist comedian Angelos Epithemiou among others. The picturesque botanic gardens sit in the heart of York, right
beside the river Ouse and were created in the 1830s by the Yorkshire Philosophical Society along with the Yorkshire Museum, which still sits within them. Today, the gardens are popular with
residents and visitors alike as a spot to unwind and explore while it also hosts a series of events. You can find out more here. TICKETS There is a York exclusive postcode pre-sale (YO1 |
