Lucy Alexander, 48, became a favourite on daytime TV hosting Homes Under The Hammer from its launch in 2003 until she quit in 2016. The presenter has now opened up on whether the property
programme has a future on screens and said she believes it will continue for quite a while. In an interview with Express.co.uk, Lucy said she “thinks” it will air for a while to come and
spilled: “It does really well in its slot. “The ratings are still good! So as long as they keep showing my repeats, I’ll be happy.” Lucy revealed she still watches the show with herself in
it, due to the repeats of old episodes on BBC One. But the star admitted she “hates” seeing a younger version of herself: “I hate them. I’m like ‘oh god what was I wearing!’ I’d wear flared
trousers or something! "With Martin and I you can tell with our clothes and our hairstyles our old they [the episodes] are.” Lucy continued: “My hair hasn’t changed that much but I just
know what a really old episode is. “And the wrinkles! I look younger and so much better then.” The TV favourite starred alongside Martin Roberts, 55, on Homes Under The Hammer. And Lucy
admitted she “misses” seeing her former co-star, who still appears on the show, every day. She divulged: “I was like Martin you know you’re going to miss me!” “Its good, it’s nice to have a
break and do different things.” Revealing whether she thinks Martin is still lost without her, she said: “Of course he misses me! He said it was like going through a divorce when I left.”
Martin still appears on Homes Under The Hammer, alongside Dion Dublin and Martel Maxwell. After quitting the BBC One show in 2016, Lucy hinted she could make a comeback in the future. When
asked whether she would go back to the show, Lucy spilled: “I would never say never.” “Let’s see what happens in the future. I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss it.” She continued: “It
was a lot of hard work for a lot of years.” _HOMES UNDER THE HAMMER AIRS WEEKDAYS ON BBC ONE AT 10AM._
